WHY teacher TRAIN WITH US?

We offer safe, progression-based training programs designed to equip dance teachers and gymnastics coaches who want to enhance their offerings and creative options by implementing an aerial acrobatics program at their studios or gyms. 

​Each apparatus contains 9 Grades. Students learn the art of aerial acrobatics in a progressive manner with a focus on technique and form. The program focuses on strength and flexibility as well as aerial elements, creating well-rounded students whose solid foundations support creative, artistic movement exploration.

We train in small groups so that you get tons of one-on-one coaching and leave feeling ready to start teaching your own students.
We have a certified rigger on staff to help with your set-up questions.
We know the season is BUSY.  We aim to accommodate your schedule so you are set up to succeed. 
Once you complete the training, the course content is yours to access forever. And so are we!

THE SYLLABUS
 
After more than a decade of research and development, the Spectacle Blue Aerial Teacher Training was launched in 2014. As aerial acrobatics continue to grow in popularity, we believe that student safety and coach education are more important than ever!

Our program, offered in three levels and spanning 9 Grades, gives teachers and coaches the technique and confidence to add the exciting element of aerial artistry to their work, while ensuring student safety and sustainable progressions.

With strong foundational training, performers, teachers, and choreographers can explore unlimited creative possibilities with aerial dance and acrobatics by incorporating the unique element of artist suspension in their work.
