Solano Barbal

Artist specialized in Acrobatics and trained in Circus Techniques in the Rogelio Rivel Circus Arts Centre (Barcelona, 1999-2001). He continued his training at the National Circus School of Cuba (Havana, 2001-2002), the Rogelia Rivel Circus Arts Centre (Barcelona, 2002-2003), and the Thevenet Artistic Cycling Club (2008-2010, France). He began performing and touring around Spain in 2005 with large productions of companies like that of Lluís Llach in the show “Tranuits”, TNC (National Theatre of Catalonia), and the company Teatro Dagoll Dagom in the musical “Mar I Cel” (Teatro Victoria). He has participated in various galas and cabarets including La Fira de Tárrega (2010) and has continued developing as an artist at festivals in Europe and Latin America. Out of a new need to go beyond his limits, the impulse came to create his own company as a solo performer, a new path of artistic and professional growth. He has worked as a circus teacher since 2001 in different projects for children and youth, including the “Do Capâo” Circus School, Brazil (2004-2005). He has collaborated as a technician in different circus tent set-ups with companies like Baró d ́Evel and Cirque Ici (Johann Le Guillerm).
