Selina Dietrich

Selina’s fascination with movement and dancing already shines through when she is a little girl – with performances on the kitchen table, in the living room or in the family garden. At the age of 3, Selina starts taking regular dancing classes and gradually expands her spectrum of the art of dance. Her versatility and interest in new things bring her from jazz dance and artistic gymnastics to artistry. Selina feels right at home in the world of circus, because here she can combine an array of different disciplines with still enough freedom to realize her own ideas.

Her flair for fashion and costumes – which stems from her first apprenticeship as a fashion technologist – allow Selina to further enrich her performances aesthetically.

After her first apprenticeship, Selina decides to concentrate fully on dancing and completes her stage dance training at the Tanzwerk in Zurich (CH). Currently, Selina is in her last semester of studies at the Etage, a school for acrobatic arts in Berlin (DE). She has specialized in performances with the cyr wheel and the aerial net.

In her performances on the cyr wheel, Selina demonstrates the magical connection she has to the wheel and takes her audience into a different world full of dance, spins, and manipulations.

She brings her aerial net to life in her performances through rhythmic movements and attention to detail. By this, she creates a unique atmosphere full of breath-taking images.

Selina loves being on stage and captivating her audience with her performances. Her versatile training and experience enable her to offer services in various areas. She can be booked for shows, choreographies, or workshops.
