Selene is a multifaceted circus artist who draws inspiration form many arts forms and her latin cultural roots. Born in Uruguay to Mexican/Uruguayan parents she incorporates elements of her cultures in her expression onstage. She began her circus journey in Vancouver, Canada. After soon realizing her passion for it, at 18 she moved to Montreal to attend the prestigious National Circus School (ENC). There she specialized in aerial rope and aerial hammock. Since graduating in 2015, Selene has been touring globally with Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize, and others. Her love for arts and movement fuels her desire to continue growing, learning, and forever creating. Today, as well as specializing in Aerial Rope and Hammock, Selene has also learned to specialize in Bungee Trapeze, and has created a Duo Straps act with her duo partner Cassandra Cornell.
