Sasha Vulovic

I am a b-girl (breakdancer) and physical theater performer. I've made work fusing dance with storytelling through employing recorded and spoken text, partner acrobatics, and object work. The last 8 years I lived in Detroit, Michigan, performing with the street dance crew Hardcore Detroit, apprenticed 4 years with the physical theater company the Hinterlands. I put on my own work at Sidewalk Festival, Fringe Festival, the Tangent Gallery, Trumbullplex Arts Collective, Crownival Festival, Teatro Chico, and the Jam Handy venue. I am currently living in Chicago and a student within the Actors' Gymnasium professional training program.
