Sara Bernabeu

Originally from Alicante, Sara is a dancer specialized in aerial arts with experience as a teacher and performer. With a professional degree in Contemporary Dance and a B.Sc. in Educational Psychology, she has also received training in acting and aerial dance including aerial hoop, aerial silk, trapeze, rope and vertical dance. As a professional performer, Sara has worked as a dancer and aerialist with The Opposite Hand, La Fura dels Baus, Els Comediants, El Circo Americano & La Fiesta Escénica among others, as well as in private events and dinner shows. She featured as an aerial dancer in the David Bisbal medium film “Tu y yo” and in the TVE documentary “This is opera”. In addition, she has also appeared in the Audi A8 and Drinkfinity advertising campaigns. As well as a performer, Sara has worked teaching classical, contemporary and aerial dance to children and adults in several schools in Barcelona. Currently, she works as a freelance aerial dance teacher and artist, choreographing and producing her own creations.
