Hello! My name is Sammie and I've been in the circus community since 2017. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Iowa State University while competing on their gymnastics team from 2012-2016. After graduation, I moved to Macau to perform in my first circus contract for Dragone; The House of Dancing Water.
It was here, in Macau, that I developed some circus disciplines such as:
-Hand to hand
-Harness work (2 point stingers)
-Cradle
-High Dive
-Character work
-BECAME PADI CERTIFIED
After Macau, I performed in another Dragone creation La Perle, in Dubai. Recently I left Dubai to come back to the United States to concentrate on training and finding new show opportunities. I have leaned into straps as my primary discipline but I like to keep hand to hand, handstands, and tumbling around as much as I can in my training. I'm open to all types of shows and am looking to expand my artistry and technique while I look for work. I love working character roles and enjoy studying clown.
In the last few years I've worked under different clowns with personal coaching as well as week long "intensive workshops". Some of these clowns include:

In the future I would like to mix physical comedy and acrobatics. But for the moment I am open to all opportunities and am happy to continue to improve technique and learn new disciplines.
