Samantha is an aerialist specializing in aerial hoop, known for her ability to combine power and fluidity in the air.
Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sam moved to California for college and earned her B.A. in English literature from Stanford University. It was in the Bay Area that she discovered and fell in love with the aerial arts.
Since 2017, Sam has trained under esteemed circus coaches in San Francisco. Her background in athletics laid the foundation for her circus career, having spent many years playing elite field hockey as a teenager. She was a NCAA Division I recruit, and represented the USA on the Jr. National Indoor team. Sam is also an experienced performer who appears on stages throughout the city. While Sam’s primary focus is aerial hoop, she is also trained in dance pole/flying pole.
