Rowan Allinson

Montreal-based Rowan is an artist who expresses her unspoken words through the discipline of Circus.

Rowan grew up surrounded by the forest. The freedom and security that came with being secluded

amongst the trees allowed her to dance around without a second thought.

She grew up competing in artistic gymnastics, where she excelled on the beam and floor. Once she started

high school, she moved out of her family's home and went to live at The National Circus School of

Montreal. After 7 years at the school, specializing in Tight Wire and acrobatics, Rowan graduated and,

within 12 hours, was on a plane to go on tour with Circa.

Rowan was working at Circa for almost 2 years, during her time there, she performed many shows,

ranging from Opera and Orchestra collaborations to kid shows and Circa classics. Rowan developed a

very high range of acrobatic tricks and developed new artistic visions.

Rowan now also specialises in bottle walking, geared towards dinner shows or cabarets, she loves to combine balance and sensuality. 

Rowan is filled with a burning internal fire, ready to light any stage on fire. She is excited to share her

passion and presence with an audience and to continue growing and learning from her colleagues.
