Bio
Rosette Elphinstone is an Edinburgh-based aerial acrobatics performer and instructor who specialises in aerial silks. She began training aerial acrobatics at 13 years old with All or Nothing Aerial. She has been making commercial and personal work in the UK since and has also performed internationally.
Rosette is the founder of, and a primary performer at, Dair Entertainment, an aerial entertainment provider based in Scotland through which clients can book aerial acts and full shows, which launched at the beginning of 2020.
Dair Entertainment was her second major project, in 2018 she founded Dundee University Aerial Society, the first and only university society to provide aerial training in Scotland. She was President of the society for its initial year and continues to teach its members. She also teaches for All or Nothing Aerial in Edinburgh.
Rosette models both in the air and on the ground and is a trained actor. She participated in youth theatre throughout her childhood, has a HNC in Acting and Performance, is represented by Strangetown, and is currently working with LIP Theatre Company. She enjoys bringing stories, characters, themes, and theatre techniques into her aerial work.
