Quattrox4

Quattrox4 (“Four by Four”) is a circus center based in Milan. It was founded in 2011 by Marco Dellabianca, Elisa Angioni, Filippo Malerba, Clara Storti. Quattrox4 is an organization aimed at promoting contemporary circus both as a physical activity and as a cultural practice in Milan, thus contributing to enrich and develop the whole panorama of performing arts in Italy.

Throughout the years Quattrox4 has rapidly become a specialized and multifunctional circus centre. It is a 450 mq workspace where different activities are held:

- circus classes for children

- circus classes for adults (amateurs)

- workshops for professionals

- social circus projects

- small residency programs

- shows and performances

In 2017-2018 Quattrox4 has opened the doors of its 450 mq-fully-equipped space to 230 kids and 150 adults attending courses on a weekly basis.

Quattrox4 actively establishes connections with theatres and cultural spaces in Milan to program contemporary circus shows. FUORI ASSE 2018-19 (2nd edition) is the name of the showcase of contemporary circus happening in Milan and organized by the association.

Quattrox4 is also a contemporary circus company. In 2018 Clara Storti and Filippo Malerba made their debut with their 7-aerial-rope show called PIANI IN BILICO.
