Polly Solomon is a circus artist, an actor, and a teaching artist. She has been working in theater for eighteen years in New York City's biggest venues and throughout the NY tri-state area. While pursuing her degree Polly started training as an aerial acrobat and incorporating circus into dance and theater pieces. She now teaches circus in school, after-school, camp, studio, and theatrical and circus productions settings. Polly has directed shows nationally for the American Youth Circus Organization including at their biannual festivals and shows presented in the Chicago Contemporary Circus Festival and the Worldwide Circus Summit. She created Common Ground; a Circus Adaptation of Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman, 360 Circus, a live show recorded to be experienced in virtual reality, Surround Circus, an immersive circus experience, is co-project founder of Urban Acrobatics: A Circus and Graffiti Spectacular! and helped train the leads for Broadway's recent revival of Pippin the Musical.
