Peter Michael Marino is a New York City native who’s worked extensively as a producer, director, developer, writer, teacher, and performer. He's a character actor, improvisor, clown and educator. He’s a member of The Dramatists Guild, AEA, and SAG-AFTRA. His production company PM2 Entertainment has presented festivals and original comedy productions from NYC to Australia, Canada, and the UK.
Pete frequent collaborates with The Kennedy Center and The Washington National Opera - creating a video that teaches kids how to put on their own show; and recently wrote, directed, and hosted a series of edutainment videos about the weird and wonderful world of opera. He also wrote the live-on-stage Opera Look-In's for La bohème, Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth. His acclaimed, semi-improvised, family-friendly solo comedy, "Show Up, Kids!" has played everywhere from NYC to Edinburgh to Hollywood. Pete wrote and hosted the hit immersive cirque experience MoonRise in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
During lockdown, he live streamed 150+ performances of his solo shows Desperately Seeking the Exit, Show Up, Kids!, and the internationally acclaimed Planet of the Grapes Live.
As an actor, he originated the villainous Joules Volter character in the 2019 award-winning, Off-Broadway, immersive family show Pip’s Island. He played retired supervillain Chancellor in Shaun McLaughlin’s mockumentary short, “The Last Night of the TwiKnight.” For five years, Pete provided the comic relief in the global smash STOMP both Off-Broadway and internationally. He’s appeared in dozens of Off-Broadway and regional productions, and heard on hundreds of voice-overs for important banks, bands & beverages.
