Paxton Asher is a Canadian circus, dance, and theatre creator with a passion for connection and inspired exploration. Being raised in a household that founded both the “DanceXperience” and “FeminineXperience”, Paxton was heavily involved in the creative process as a lead choreographer, instructor and performer in the family dance business, and even organized a flash mob financed by the city of Ottawa.
Leaping from the dance world to the theatre world, Paxton attended both Canterbury’s Dramatic Arts program (Ottawa, ON), followed by Humber College’s Devised Physical Theatre program (Toronto, ON) specializing in devised physical theatre.
Upon graduating and relocating to the USA (2019), Paxton fell in love with the circus world and jump-started into training. Here, Paxton quickly became a lead coach and performance troupe member for Aerial Arts of Rochester, coaching many circus classes, developing the sought after Acro-Chair Dance program, directing the studios Fringe Festival show “ROAR” (2022), and performing professionally throughout upstate NY.
Paxton relocated to Brattleboro, VT in 2023 to directly enter year 2 of New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) Protrack Program, majoring in contortion and minoring in aerial chair. She is committed to spreading her knowledge, creativity, and inspiration to the world!
