Oona De Cleyn

I am Educated at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp and Royal Conservatory (Bachelor Dance), and began my dance career in 2009. Over the years, my path has naturally expanded into the aerial world, where I have been performing since 2016. My disciplines include aerial hoop (solo/duo), flying harness, bungee dance, aerial net, and with a current focus on “bungee hair suspension”, a practise I’m deeply passionate about for its physicality and expressive potential.

Some highlights of my experience include:

- Bungee Hair Suspension - “Stellaire” – Maison Symphonique de Montréal & Le Monastère (2026)
- Bungee Hair Suspension - Gymgala 2025/GymFed - Antwerp Lotto Arena
- Aerial coach and stand-in for “Die Helene Fischer Show” 2024 (In collaboration with Arthur Cadre)
- A duo hoop act from “Varélia” in 'Cirque Du Soleil at Sea' (2019-2020).
- Bungee act and main character “Syma” in the show called “Syma” - 'Cirque du Soleil at Sea’.
- Work as a dancer in private shows from the 'Dragone Entertainment Group' in addition to various other companies and  to also perform character work.
- Reach the finals in the “Belgium Got Talent” 2016 show.
- Reach the finals of “So You Think You Can Dance” (Belgium/Netherlands).
