After competing and coaching high level competitive artistic gymnastics, Nicole Flores performed in various stunt and cirque-style shows, like Cirque de la Mer at Sea World San Diego. She and her husband, Victor Flores, started an acrobatic entertainment company called De Leon Productions over 10 years ago, which has done special event entertainment all over the USA. Over 10 years ago, they began developing the De Leon Aerial Teacher Certification program, a progressive aerial program that emphasizes safe progressions from beginner to professional, and which has become so popular in the area that the majority of aerial programs in the San Diego area now teach aerial classes based on their program. They started teaching classes based on this unique program in 2010, then they opened their first stand alone location, De Leon Dynamics, in 2014. Since then, they have built extremely successful Demo and Competition Teams who boast over 60 top 3 placing wins at competitions like WCAAF and VivaFest. Nicole loves mentoring each team member in their development as an aerialist and in their routine choreography, with an emphasis on helping them to develop a unique style.
