Nico is a diabolo expert, with 30 years of practice of his craft. He performed his acts and long shows all around the world with Cirque du Soleil, 7 Fingers, Virgin Voyages, Got Talent TV Shows (finalist in France and Portugal), Disneyland and many different events.

Nico was 9 when he discovered diabolo, a simple game which quickly became an incredible source of dreams and inspiration.

Raised in a double French Portuguese education, he has always been interested in other cultures and to travel around the world. 

After completing his Management and Communication studies in France, he decided to live on his passion for diabolo. 

He started performing professionally in Disneyland in Hong Kong in 2009, in solo and in duo with his friend Mickaël Bellemène.

Nico approaches diabolo as a complete artistic, physical and spiritual discipline, in which inner connection and body expressions are as important as the technique.

Passionate by photo and movie making, it's during his stay in China, land of the diabolo origins, that he found the inspiration to launch The Planet Diabolo Project, a 3 DVDs collection featuring more than 100 of the best diabolo artists in the world.

Back in Europe, he started building new performances, finding new artistic inspirations, and sharing his craft in workshops.

In 2015, Nico reaches the finals of French TV Show "France's Got Talent".

From 2017 to 2020, Nico was touring worldwide with Totem, big top show from Cirque du Soleil as one of the main characters.

In 2021, Nico builds the 45 minutes show "Fil ou Face".

Nico jumps back to the finals of Got Talent TV Show, in Portugal in 2022 and joins the show "Moon" in Cannes.

Early 2023, Nico joins 7 Fingers on the show Duel Reality, performed on the cruise ship Valiant Lady from Virgin Voyages, and currently builds new acts with his life partner Rochelle Lopes.
