MK Lebeaux is a clown of few words, lesser logic, and isn't sure if you’re laughing with him or at him. A silent, eccentric variety act that speaks for itself using clowning, magic, and mime. MK Lebeaux was named a Top 10 Artistic Performer in Columbus for 2023 (Columbus Underground) and was the recipient of the Individual Artist Grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council in 2024.
MK’s unique physical comedy has been featured everywhere from television to festivals, in the street, at burlesque houses, on the stage, and will be appearing this summer in the Playhouse Square District performing their solo show, Goes Without Saying, and was the featured clown in the 2024 Opera Columbus production of Mozart’s final opera, A Magic Flute Experience: The Temple.
MK Lebeaux is also involved in the local Columbus community and has been the producer for the variety show Two Dollar Soup, hosted by local independent book publisher Two Dollar Radio, since July 2022. This monthly event showcases the best and upcoming variety acts and also doubles as a food drive for the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
