Miro Wallner

A dancer, acrobat teacher and director based in Berlin. He has also been exploring his skills as filmmaker and video cutter in the last 2 years.

Despite having a degree in administration and project management, Miro has always been curious about the arts of the movement, and his interest intensified with the practice of capoeira, acrobatics and yoga.

In 2013 he moved to Berlin and decided to turn his entire attention to the field of movement.  Since then he is part of the collective Grupo Oito and has teached and performed in different projects in Germany, Kenya and Croatia.  He has also worked in several dance projects with Caroline Alves and has created and performed the solo Treffgegen (2015) and Time (2018) presented at the project “Oito Solos + 1” in Berlin.

Besides dancing, he is currently teaching acrobatic motion and investigating strategies and tools for creation processes.
