Melissa James

Melissa James’ resume is a world’s only filigree of the arts. The Australian multi-disciplinary artist has been Dance Captain of numerous Broadway masterpieces such as ‘Chicago,’ ‘Hairspray,’ ‘Mamma Mia,’ and Future Cinema’s production of ‘Dirty Dancing,’ (Penny) and ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ (Choreographer). Melissa has bridged this unique articulation to life in the air as Associate Aerial Choreographer, Artist, and Artistic Coordinator of Franco Dragone’s “La Perle” in Dubai, starred as an Aerial Soloist at Dubai’s 2020 World Expo, headlined on the Las Vegas strip and was the star of the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Saudi Games. Most recently, Melissa has just returned from the Middle East where she played the lead role of ‘Celestia’ in the big top cirque extravaganza ‘Celestia Nouveau’ in which she was also Choreographer and Associate Director.
