Megan Sessford

Megan Sessford is a dancer and an aerialist from Calgary, Alberta. She has been performing since her very first dance class. She loves doing lyra, aerial silks, and anything with a ‘wow’ factor. She has worked with Cirque Du Soleil, theatreMAMA and more. With the En L’air Academy of Dance, she has performed in multiple full-scale productions. She played many different characters including Simba in The Lion King, and The Beast in Beauty and the Beast. She has trained with master instructors such as Derek Piquette, Micheal Dameski, Enya White, and Sascha Bachmann. Megan has performed in many venues, including but not limited to the TELUS Spark Science Centre and at the Lilac Festival in Calgary, Alberta. At dance competitions such as The Gravity Dance Challenge, The Great Canadian Dance Challenge, Evolve Dance Competition, she was awarded first place with high gold and adjudicators choice. Megan currently trains at the En L’air Academy of Dance with industry professionals such as Shy Kotkas, Nicole Schreoder, Morgan Pack, and Gillian Moon.
