This collective of artists introduces you to the civilization that lives in a young woman’s mind. The Marshmallow Valley inhabitants are creatures that embody her emotions. They have their own surreal bodies and characters. With an Emo-cracy as the form of government, in Marshmallow Valley there is no place for a Dick-tator. The woman feels that a variety of emotions are running the show. While expressing her emotions, it seems like the personages are a life form of their own, with their own will. She discovers the place for expressing herself through them and on the other hand the necessity of getting a grip on them. She plows through the external influences that make her feel things like for example curiosity: Are there are still new unorthodox ways to question sexual borders, explore gender fluidity, dig into the dark places of our mind? Can the contrast between serious spirituality and spiritual satire live side by side? In order to control the citizens of her psyche, she is finding ways to embracing each aspect of the complexity of being human. She's meeting eye to eye with acceptance, insecurity, devastation and serenity.
As the story unfolds it takes unusual shapes in a mixture of a hypnotic electronic music concert with mime-theatre, ballet, modern dance, video art, spoken word, esoteric female vocals and the most outrageous out-of-the-box costumes made by Studio Nepco.
