Marie-Sophie is a multidisciplinary circus artist with a rich and diverse background in Chinese pole, aerial silks, duo acrodance, bascule, slackline, and acrobatics. She also brings specialized training in trampolining, diving, and artistic swimming, bridging the worlds of air, ground, and water through her performance practice.
A graduate of the École nationale de cirque de Montréal, Marie-Sophie has performed in independent creations and research-driven projects such as Tessera, which integrates artistic swimming and breath work into contemporary dance performance underwater. She has co-produced variety shows like Croque la Nuit, she was also part of Jacynthe, an all-female creative team focused on collaborative exploration and innovative performance-making and collaborated with organizations such as CRITAC (HUPR), where she worked on motion capture and data translation using the R programming language.
In addition to performing, Marie-Sophie is passionate about teaching and exploring the social impact of circus. Her work reflects a commitment to creative collaboration, physical precision, and the ongoing dialogue between movement, research, and community.
