Mariah Rome was born in Hugoton, Kansas on August 3rd, 1996. She started dancing at the age of three. Growing up Mariah attended Deb Gallagher’s Dance Academy until she was 14 years old. At age 15 she joined Dance Images Competition Troupe Team. She was also the captain of Hugoton High School’s Free Spirits Dance Team, which attends NDA’s (National Dance Competition) Dance Camp where she was rewarded with Top Gun Kicks for four years, All-American Dance Team Dancer for three years, and Top All-American Dancer. Because of her participation with the All-American Team, Mariah had the opportunity to dance in the 2014 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Spirit of America Productions organization in the Varsity Spirit group. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Dance at West Texas A&M University under professors Leslie Williams, Crystal Bertrand, And Edward R. Truitt. Aside from dance, Mariah has been training in hula hooping since the age of 4 and can currently hula hoop over 60 hoops at the same time.
