Margaux Wasteels

After doing artistic gymnastics professionally for approximately 12 years, I realized I needed more than just executing technical movements. That’s why I then started doing circus, to be able to perform on stage.

So, I went to the National Circus school of Montréal when I was 17. I performed numerous disciplines such as dance trapeze, duo trapeze, duo tissu, banquine, etc. I have now graduated since June 2022.

Group work is something I feel comfortable in. I enjoy working with other people and being able to express my acrobatic skills, which is why I more often do banquine, hand to hand or Russian cradle. Nevertheless, I have done aerial silk as one of my main disciplines, which means that I can perform a solo act without any problem. 

 More in depths about me : I’m determined and I love learning new skills/disciplines. I enjoy meeting new people, discovering new places, new cultures, new ways of living and working. In fact, I adapt pretty well in a new environment!
