I am a Melbourne based circus artist and recent graduate of the Bachelor in Circus Arts at NICA, where I also completed a Certificate 4 in Circus Arts. Prior to pursuing circus professionally, I studied urban planning and was a competitive cross country runner and triathlete.
During my time at NICA, I have developed skills across a variety disciplines including aerial straps, freestanding ladder, Chinese pole, hand to hand and character work. My background in running and triathlon has served as a solid backdrop for my circus artistry, as these athletic roots have allowed me to develop a strong physicality in his work.
I am a very passionate artist and care immensely about the work that I create and am involved in. I love storytelling through circus and physical theatre and my artistic work strives towards engaging audiences through human connection and shared experiences. I have experience performing both as a solo artist and also within an ensemble, and am considered to be a versatile and adaptable artist. Additionally, I thrive in team environments, bringing a positive attitude and professionalism to each project. I have most recently performed in shows such as Gender Euphoria (2023; Arts Centre Melbourne), Cabaret Vertigo (2024; Circus Oz & NICA) and in ensemble performances, including 'Within These Walls' (2023), directed by Katie Cawthorne, and 'FAMOUS' (2024), directed by Carita Farrer Spencer.
