I started in Russian ballet when I was 4 years old. I danced ballet for 10 years, until one day I saw a guy dancing Popping on the street in Kiev. I fell in love with this dance style and knew I had to do this. I started to learn by myself, and when I was 17 and living on my own I opened a dance school in Ukraine for kids to learn Popping.
I was also training in Pantomime in the circus academy at the same time - certain parts of Pantomime are very similar to Popping and this enabled me to increased my style.
When I was turning 19, a circus theatre director saw me dancing and invited me to dance and perform in the circus in Switzerland. Since then, I have been traveling around the world performing and teaching Popping and other dance styles.
