Hi I'm Lizzy!
I am an aerial artist, training in silks and hoop since 2021, and hair hanging since the start of 2024. I have performed on various occasions, most recently at the Grand Hyatt Dubai New Year's Party 2024, and have experience with other aerial apparatuses, such as static trapeze, aerial cube, corde lisse, and tippy hoop, and flying pole. I also have experience performing on pole and with silk fans.
In 2023, I competed in the Inter University Aerial Hoop Competition, placing 1st in the advanced category, and in the Canadian Pole and Aerial Championship Central Competition, placing 3rd in division Hoop 2 at regionals, and 6th at the National Championship.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Warwick, with an upper second-class degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Law (with Intercalated Year). Alongside my studies, I was the Aerial Officer (2023/24) for Warwick Pole and Aerial Arts, a student-led society at the university, where I taught both hoop and silks to other students (from beginner up to intermediate level), earning the award for Most Committed Teacher 2024. Upon finishing university, I worked as an Aerials Activity Instructor at Canadian Adventure Camp, teaching aerial hoop and silks to children aged 7-17. Currently, I am a cover teacher with My Gravity Fitness & Dance (London, UK), teaching children's aerial classes and parties, as well as mixed ability aerial silks classes.
I am a certified aerial hoop and silks instructor, having completed the Spin City beginner instructor courses in both disciplines, as well as the anatomy & physiology, and core strength & stability courses, specific to pole and aerial. I am continuing my education, currently taking the intermediate hoop instructor course, and the stretching and flexibility course (expected to be completed early 2025), and an enrolled to take the Xpert pole instructor course level 1 & 2.
I am a self-taught makeup artist, who enjoys creating looks for stage makeup as well as bold, artistic, and avant garde looks.
