Leyna is a circus artist based in Vancouver, who specializes in Hand balancing, aerial silks, and aerial hoop. After years of taking dance, She began circus when she was 13 at Monica’s Danz Gym in Winnipeg. There, Leyna performed with the Momentum acrobatic troupe and travelled with them to Austria to perform in the World Gymnaestrada. She continued to perform with Momentum until 2015 when She moved to Vancouver and began working for The Underground Circus. Leyna has performed itn many corporate shows and theater productions throughout Canada and the US. During the pandemic Leyna co-produced an online hand balancing circus show called “Locked Upside Down”. She loves creating new movements while balancing on her hands and flying through the air on silks.
