We are a female-led alternative circus company, creating empowering and enabling circus. We are a Bristol based company, with the aspiration to involve everyone in the bonkers world of circus. Founded by Amy Nicholls and Nicole Pretlove, Lavrak is a contemporary circus company, incorporating dance, theatre, live music and circus in our sell out shows across the UK.

Nicole is a Producer and Performer. Recently working on our cabarets; She Who Dares and Dismantle. These empowering shows dissect stereotypes of gender, sexuality and feminism. She manages festival bookings, having run the circus tent at Maui Waui, and curated cabarets for Nozstock. ​Nicole has worked, trained and performed in the UK, Greece, Czech Republic, Spain and New York, having worked with Bassline Circus and No Fit State (to name a few).

Amy is a Producer and Performer; having recently worked with Circomedia, The Island Bristol and St Pauls Adventure Playground on our ACE funded children's show Reach. The show was described as ‘a heart warming experience’ by Theatre Bristol. She has also worked with Circus City, The Baltic Nordic Circus Network, The Eden Project and Flying Fantastic. Her social circus work was described by St Pauls Adventure Playground as ‘brilliantly inclusive, accessible and creative’.
