I'm a certified pyrotechnician, Assistant Stage Manager, and performer (also a Controller & Cost Accountant at a Steel Fabrication shop) as well as a certified Hoop Dance instructor through Safire Dance in 2011. I also fire spin and my husband and I are both multi prop artists from multi hooping circus style, to native hoop dance and sacred geometry formations with hoops, partner poi dancing (like ballroom dancing), silk fans, dragon staff as well as partner dragon (I've taught workshops & choreograped a Burning Man Conclave performance), levitation flowwand, mini partner hoops, fire eating, fans, buugeng, contact juggling, bubble play, stilt and bouncy stilts walking as well as stilt costume design, and Cosplay (we own a 3D printer, airbrush machine, die cutter, and engraving machine to help in costume creation)... My husband and I are both Accountants who work for the Kelowna Actors Studio backstage from Pyrotechnics for Young Frankenstein the Musical, stage hand for Elf the Musical, and currently the Assistant Stage Manager for Steel Magnolias. Up coming productions that we are Teching for are Camelot the Musical & The Little Mermaid Musical followed by Rocky Horror Picture Show Musical & Beauty & the Beast. My husband and I are the only Pyrotechnicians in the Okanagan Valley so we do all the big Fireworks displays that are choreographed to music. Our Canada Day weekend is packed with 3 shows through out the cities in the valley. In Kelowna we are on a big barge on the lake and in Penticton we shoot in a U Boat it's a lot of fun & quite the adrenaline rush. We also own Pyrotechnic props like the Pyroterra Boom Staff & Boom Fans we pretty much do it all! How could I also forget that I'm an advanced clogger and recently picked up tap dance too
