Kendall Rileigh is an NYC-based actor and aerial performer, director, and choreographer who is most excited by collaborations involving the fusion of storytelling and aerial acrobatics. A former competitive gymnast, she graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, continued acting and movement work with the Moscow Art Theatre, and trained aerial and acrobatics at Circus Warehouse and STREB. Kendall was in residence as aerial choreographer at Firkin Crane (Cork, Ireland) and she was a LabWorks artist at the New Victory Theatre in NYC. She co-founded Only Child Aerial Theatre, which produced ASYLUM (Circus Now), Story Hour, UPROAR, and other productions of heightened, acrobatic storytelling.
Her acting work includes the Broadway tour of Golda’s Balcony (performed as understudy) and several other national tours and off-Broadway productions.
Her aerial director and/or aerial choreography and performance credits include Hetty Feather (Delaware Theatre Company); ASYLUM (Skirball Center NYC); The Dream Project (Mexico and NYC); BAUBO (Neo-Political Cowgirls); Story Hour (The Muse); Trenches and Mystery Ballet Theater 3000 (Constellation Moving Company). She choreographed and performed the one-woman aerial piece Tomorrow the Sun Shines for You (drawn from Ulysses) in Ireland and NYC.
