Katheryn Kilbourne

I have been performing circus sideshow since 2011 upon being picked up by The World Of Wonders traditional carnival traveling circus sideshow. While on tour I honed my fire skills which I had been dabbling in and introduced to in 2007 by an individual that hosted a flow night and was friends with the local fire chief in Columbus , Ohio. I spin and dance with both staff and fans. I was taught introductory bullwhip cracking , knife throwing , straight jacket escape , and sword swallowing. I am on record with the international sword swallowers association and have participated in sword swallowers day events hosted at Ripley's Believe it or not and am featured in some photography featured in the Panama City Beach , Florida location. I have been featured in National Geographic online. I am a novice at most aerial disciplines although I would love to continue learning. Novice at Lyra hoop , Silks and pole dancing. Admittedly my juggling could also use some work :) I dabble in music with guitar , and accordion but consider myself a decent vocalist with a fairly wide range and a few character voices. It is not uncommon for me to be caught in character or doing a bit of physical slap stick or clowning.  I may have been caught doing an Amy Winehouse impersonation before. I would like to further the list of acts and disciplines in my repertoire time and life allowing. When I am not in the right part of the country or a place I can be getting booked it seems to take a back seat unfortunatley. C'est la vie. I have also been working with in the world of stage production since 2015, mainly as a simple hand but hope to expand to having actual certifications in the near future. I am currently researching and looking into actual colleges that have programs in their arts departments that have a course on Circus arts however that is few and far between here in the US.
