Katerina Repponen is a circus artist from Finland. She strated circus training at very young age and she did her first performance in public when she was only six years old. Katerina graduated from professional circus school, Lahti Further Education Center of circus arts in 2010. Her main circus disciplines are foot juggling and hand to hand acrobatics. Katerina has been performing with her original foot juggling act in many productions and festivals, like Friedrichsbau Variete and SolyCirco Festival in Germany. Katerina met her husband and acrobatic partner Pasi Nousiainen in 2010 and since then they have been performing in many shows and companies like Cirque Eloize in Canada, Circus Flora in USA, Krystallpalast in Germany, Circus Monti and many more. Together they went to study in Kiev Circus Academy in 2011. Katerina and Pasi won a silver prize in international Circus Festival “Golden Karl” in Latvia in 2014 and a special prize at Grenoble International Circus Festival in France. In addition to circus acts, Katerina has created her own contemporary circus pieces such as SUHDE and RAFLA. The contemporary circus performance SUHDE has won two prizes in Germany: 2nd jury prize at the International Kleinkunstfestival Usedom and the jury prize at the Open Flair Festival Bochum. Katerina loves working in a creative team and collaborating with other artists.
