Katelyn Reed

Katelyn is a New Zealand/Aotearoa based circus artist of Ngāti Porou decent. Specialising in Corde Lisse, she also trains Hand Balance, Contortion & Floor Acrobatics, including Hand to Hand, Tumbling & Cyr. Katelyn enjoys weaving together her disciplines to explore and challenge movement in new ways, pushing the boundaries within her movements both in the air and on the ground. 

With a degree in Applied Arts, Katelyn continues to work around the motu performing both independently, and for companies such as Colossal, Inverted Citizens, The Dust Palace, Te Pou, and Movement of The Human. Most recently, Katelyn has been working as an aerialist for World Of Wearable Arts (2024)
