Circusproducer focusing in circus festivals, conventions and camps.
I work also with circus groups and artists with their productions.
I started my circus journey as an artist, graduating from SaSak, Finland in 2009 as a juggler and a base in pair- and group acrobatics.
I have a B.A degree in cultural management. I work as a producer, teacher and a performer in this present time. Being more active in performing earlier in my career and now focusing more in to production and teaching work. I teach in SaSak (Vocational School) and in Youth Circuses at the moment.
I love the idea of festivals and conventions where different groups and elements of circus meet at the same place. Amateurs, Youth Circus, performers and professionals meet, mix and mingle to create a multilayered and networked entity of circus. Or young hobbyist, students and professionals, one learning from another and passing the heritage and knowledge. My aesthetics in festival and event production is to create organic, cozy in a professional way, that doesn't feel plastic. All the work I do, I have the mission to make circus more visible for non-circus people in a positive way.
I´m open and happy to hear suggestions, co-production ideas, thoughts or questions related to circus and performing arts.
