Kaisha Dessalines Wright

Kaisha Dessalines Wright is an acrobat and circus performer from the UK, a former acrobatic gymnast with over 15 years experience of the specialty sport. At the age of 18, she made the decision to continue her training and moving to London in 2016 where she maintained her porter training. She graduated with Dance trapeze, but still aimed for more. After graduation in 2019, she moved to Montréal, Canada where she resumed her porter and aerial training, only to finally graduate with her dream discipline, Hand to Hand in 2022. In her time as a circus artist, she has worked for companies such as Cirque Eloizé and London based all women company, Mimbre Acrobats in which she performed alongside others for Dior in Paris Fashion Week in 2019. She is currently on tour with Les 7 Doigts in the show ‘Passagers’, doing contortion, aerial straps, singing and hand to hand. When Kaisha isn’t lifting people above her head, she enjoys seeing her family during the holidays, playing sudoku and beating everyone at Mario Kart.
