Júlia is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in movement, performance, and a constant curiosity for new artistic languages.
Her artistic journey began with dance, leading her to pursue formal training at university before expanding her practice into circus at the Luiz Olimecha National Circus School in Brazil. Over the years, she has developed a versatile artistic profile that bridges dance, circus, and visual storytelling.
Throughout her career, Júlia has had the opportunity to work alongside renowned artists, including Brazilian ballet icon Ana Botafogo, as well as in partnership with FUNARTE. With over a decade of experience as a teacher, she is deeply committed to continuous learning and to creating work that allows her to grow both artistically and personally.
Her multidisciplinary path has taken her through major big-top circus productions, studies at the International Cinema Academy, and an increasingly focused exploration of contemporary circus. Her main disciplines are partner acrobatics, aerial silks, and tightwire.
Júlia’s artistic language is defined by a balance between strength and sensitivity, precision and fluidity. She describes her work as impactful, creative, fluid, sensitive, and elegant, always seeking to create a strong connection between movement, emotion, and presence.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to constantly expand her artistic vocabulary, Júlia embraces new collaborations, disciplines, and creative environments. For her, being a multidisciplinary artist means remaining open—to movement, to learning, and to the endless possibilities of performance.
She is currently focused on developing her career within the international circus scene, bringing together her experience in dance, circus, teaching, and visual performance to create work that is both powerful and deeply expressive.
