Josie Lyon

Hi! I'm Hypatia Ivy, an aerialist artist based in Nashville, TN. I specialize in aerial hammock/sling, lyra, silks, aerial hemisphere, and lollipop, including duo work on any of these apparatuses. I perform with the Nashville-based circus troupe Suspended Gravity for a monthly residency at an award-winning cocktail bar (classy nightclub vibes), and corporate events (wedding, bat mitvahs, non-profit fundraisers, New Year's Eve celebrations in large hotels, themed circus and burlesque shows, and everything in between). I teach beginner sling and silks for weekly classes and private events. I can and love to learn any apparatus, and create high-concept acts with an focus on entertaining and connecting with audiences.
