Joseane Martins is a Brazilian professional acrobat, performer and former elite artistic swimmer, specialising as a Russian Cradle flyer.
A former member of the Brazilian National Team, she represented Brazil internationally, including at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships, and won a bronze medal at the 2011 Pan American Games.
After transitioning from competitive sport to live entertainment, Joseane performed at SeaWorld San Antonio before joining Franco Dragone’s The House of Dancing Water in Macau. Since 2018, she has performed with Cirque du Soleil, including Corteo and OVO, touring internationally.
Her experience includes Russian Cradle, hand-to-hand and character work, combining an elite athletic background with extensive experience in large-scale international productions.
Alongside performing, Joseane is the founder of Cirquenastics, where she works with performers on physical preparation and performance readiness.
