Welcome! Im Jordon Alexander (pronounced like "on-off")
I was put into martial arts at the age of 3 and stayed at that dojo most of my life, while going to other dojos to learn different styles of martial arts. During high school I did very well competing in martial arts competitions (traditional & XMA)
Im a self taught trampoline and floor acrobat. Through my journey as an acrobat I encountered the sport of parkour, falling in love with the ability to do flips on walls, over and through objects, etc. I became quite good at tumbling "the ballet of acro" early on in my journey, as my martial mentality led me believe I had to be technical while learning. Tricking soon crept into my life which is "the contemporary of acro" and when it did I quickly became a professional traveling the world as a guest athlete, teaching and progressing the sport into new areas.
as well as combining my martial arts background into my trampoline and floor acro, I joined dance classes in my early life. Learning contemporary, hip hop and some ballet. Through dance, Ive performed in a multitude of shows, recitals and did traveling competitions with my dance studio. After learning from multiple studios, conventions and shows, I blended dance into my acro. Now having martial arts, trampoline, parkour, tumbling, tricking and dance blending together.
if there is one thing I can certainly say about myself, I want to learn it all. Im even currently in classes for a yoga certification. I am in love with the ability to use my body in every way. Every newly learned style inherently expressing unique parts of myself, to later blend talents from each sport/art into each other, creating a masterpiece of pathways to express the infinity in my mind. There is simply nothing better to me. I am at my truest peace when learning, creating and expressing.
Through this desire for more, enjoyment in creation and release during expression, Ive been recognized by multiple communities of movement artists/athletes and been honored as a guest performer, athlete and teacher. Not because of the clear unique talents Ive developed over the years, but because of where they came from, love. To spread my love for it all. With the love you have for your project and my love for learning, creating and expressing... we'll make something beautiful.
There is absolutely nothing stopping me from making it to a good opportunity.
