After my 21st Birthday I participated in a workshop with Laura Tikka, from there I realised my dream and began classes with Michaela Heyer (Funky-Fi, Hakuna Matata Acrobatics) at Circus Factory Cork. 5 years later I travelled to Italy for a year where I taught with "Officina della danza" a dance school in Senigallia and "Aria di Circo" of Ancona. Within these 6 short Aerial years I have performed in various shows with Cork's very own Circus Factory, taught various classes, workshops I have also taken part in photoshoots and video shoots aerial and not aerial related.
I have also taught workshops at the National Circus Festival of Ireland and performed as part of Fernando Turnin's (Nando) production "Fortissimo" accompanied by live music for Midsummer Festival in 2014. I have gained my aerial experience by attending workshops from well known aerialists like Will Davis (UK Aerial Champion 2016, National Centre for Circus Arts) Sarah Bebe-Holmes (PaperDoll Milita) and Jill Franklin (Aerial physique) along with various teachers at Aerial Conventions, Circus festivals, Workshops in Taking Flight (Aerial and Acrobatic Centre Dublin), Intensive training in Silks and Corde lisse at Irelands Aerial Creation Centre and through my own self training in various suitable spaces.
