My name is Joana, I'm a 24 years old circus artist specialized in aerial straps.
I was born in France, directly into a circus family.
Therefore, since my early childhood, I was surrounded by inspiring performances and artists.
Growing up, I felt the urge to find my own identity inside the circus world.
I graduated in the summer of 2021 from the Academy of Circus and Performance Arts (in Tilburg – Netherlands).
I'm looking for new projects, eager to develop my experience.
My work is based on the research between technic, fluidity, aestheticism and torsions.
I like to look for new ideas and develop my mobility while dancing with the straps.
