Jimmy Verbaeys

Hi, my name is Jimmy Verbaeys, I'm 32 years old and I'm from Belgium.

I spent 15 years as a professional gymnast, competing at the highest level — from European and World Championships all the way to the Olympic Games in London 2012. After my gymnastics career, I decided to chase my dream of becoming a circus artist.

I joined a circus school where I discovered new disciplines like aerial straps, flying trapeze, swinging rings, clowning, dancing… and eventually landed my first professional contract at Disneyland Paris in the Lion King show. That moment changed everything for me — I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be, and I promised myself I would chase every dream that came my way.

From there I was lucky enough to perform in some of the most iconic shows in the world — the House of Dancing Water and La Perle by Franco Dragone. I continue to live that dream every day, always evolving, always having fun.

I'm a pretty chill guy who genuinely loves what he does. I know this kind of career doesn't last forever, so I make sure to give 100% and enjoy every single moment of it.
