Hugo Ruiz

I started learning juggling at 6 years old, self-taught.

In 2019 I found about a small circus school in my city call CIRCO BAJO EL TEJADO and i started training there.

Also, I learned hand-to-hand/banquine, hand-balancing, acrobatics/gymnastics, tricking, and bboy in an acrobatic gymnastic group called ZONA ACROASTUR.

I competed in acrobatic gymnastic with ZONA ACROASTUR arround Spain for a little time.

I did street shows and a few traffic light shows. In CIRCO BAJO EL TEJADO I was part of 2 shows doing juggling, hand-to-hand/banquine, trapeze, trapeze duo, and hand-balancing. In 2023 this school turned 10 years old and invited me to act in a 10 YEARDS OLD GALA as an special guest.

I have experience in theatre circus shows and acting in different parties as main show, as complementary entertainment and in different parades.

I organize an annual circus convention in Gijón, Asturias (Spain). At the same time im starting a little circus company to create shows arround Asturias and direct for free shows for touring circus tents that need improvement in their creations.

Im a student at the ESAD of my city (a degree on theatre and performing arts).
