Hernán Gené is a renowned teacher, producer, actor and theatre and circus director. One of the greatest references of physical theatre in Europe and Latin America of the dramatic potential of the multiplying nerve of senses that beats in the actor’s body. In 1985 he directed the play "Arturo", his first piece, giving rise to a prolific career that spans more than 45 years. He has directed and premiered plays in Spain's main theatres, such as the Centro Dramático Nacional or the Teatro de la Abadía in Madrid. His latest production "Pericles príncipe de Tiro", by William Shakespeare (2019), was premiered at the Classical Theatre Festival in Mérida before more than 8000 spectators. * To date, he has directed about 60 theater and circus shows, his most outstanding productions being: "Arturo" (1985); “About Horacios y Curiácios” (2004; Max Award for best show); "The Hunters of Thè" (2010); “Tartufo”, by Moliere, (2011), “Los Concierges de San Felipe” (2012); his solo “The Scardanelli Library” (2013); “George Dandin” (2016, 2nd Prize in the XIV edition of the Classic Theater Festival of Moratalaz, Spain); and "Mutis "(2016.
