Invented live chainsaw portrait carving in January 2016 at Loveburn Festival, Miami, Florida. I've been refining and defining the act ever since. My show can last from 45 minutes to several hours depending the number of individuals to be carved and the theme that unites them. The actual carving time with the saw is about 17 minutes depending on ugliness factor of the model. It's all fun and games until someone burns their face off. The crowd instinctively gushes. Then the image is brought back from the ashes. I've mostly performed at Burning Man and Regional Burning Man events. Since inventing this new art form I have captured more than 600 souls in wood.
