My name is Francisco Pimentel, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Lisbon, Portugal. When I was a child I went to a party with clowns and when I arrived home I said "Mum I want to be a Clown!". After that the idea stayed in my head, and I knew circus was going to be my life. At the age of 8 I started doing some Circus classes for kids waiting to go to the Circus High School. In these classes I learn acrobatics, juggling and discover my passion
- the straps. At 15 I started that Circus High School in Portugal, at INAC- Instituto Nacional De Artes Circenses and ACE-
Academia Contemporânea do Espetáculo, and after that, at 18, I went to Switzerland to do a preparatory school, Ecole de Cirque de Lausanne-Renens. Last year I did private classes with Alvaro Medrano, (straps teacher and artist), and Tiago Lopes, (trampoline and acrobatics), to get to a higher level. After 5 years of intense training, I think I am ready to join a circus company. I am a hard working artist, very focused and I learn fast. I love challenges and I know that with you I can grow as a circus artist. The straps are my way to express myself and I would love to do it with you.
