Frances Widow is a sideshow performer and aerialist.
Widow creates choreographed dances of pain for stage, which are performed in cabarets nationally and internationally. Prior to this she worked as a dance-circus artist for 14 years.
Graduating from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2006, She went on to train in circus and sideshow, and currently specialises in aerial chains, bed of nails, glass walking, and body stapling.
She has worked with, amongst others; STREB, Walk The Plank, Opera North, NoFit State Circus, PifPaf Theatre, and Citrus Arts.
Notable performances include; aerial soloist for Pafos 2017 Capital of Culture opening ceremony and "human eye" with STREB performing on the spokes of the London Eye as part of Cultural Olympiad 2012.
