Mery Acevedo & Alfonso Campa are both ice skaters and aerial performers. Mery was a single skater in Argentina and she began performing professionally in 2005. Alfonso was born in one of the most important circus families in Mexico where he learned different acrobatics and skating at the same time since the age of 3.
In 2012 they performed their main duo straps act “Come what May” for the first time, and it was then when they created the concept of “Flying on Ice”. Since then, they have been performing constantly in some of the best galas and ice skating shows all over the world.
All of their acts are performed on ice and they also include juggling, aerial hoop, stilts, silks, adagio and acrobatics. Some of them can as well be performed off ice on roller skates.
“Flying on Ice” will take the audience to an incredible new experience where ice and aerial arts are combined in amazing performances bringing to you breathtaking acrobatics with the unique elegance of figure skating.
